So I should be back on a regular schedule next week which means back to regular updates on this site. Still not sure if I am happy with how everything looks but it works for now.  So let’s get going with the random thoughts on a Friday!

• I miss being on Good Day although I know eventually, I would miss sleep even more.  I have had a blast this week with everybody.
• Tweeting the traffic this morning. We’ll see how that goes.

• I think I may have turned the corner on golf. From a bad average player to a good average player.  My son is quickly becoming a very very good player.
• I played on Monday with my son and this fellow from Houston joined us on the back nine.  After one hole, he asked how we knew each other. I said that Trevor was my son.  He said he thought we were brothers.  Hey, either he looks a lot older or I look a lot younger. Let’s go with me being younger.
• I had all these plans to do things between shifts, yet somehow only a nap was marked off my daily list.
• I’m sorry but I really don’t want to be friends with you on facebook unless we have met in real life.  Am I being too stubborn on that?
• Dear Cashier, When I am purchasing something at the register, is it too much to ask for your undivided attention?  Please refrain from continuing your conversation with your co-workers as if I were invisible.   I know you don’t care if I come back to the store ever again but I bet your boss does.
• Dear Theater Owner,  Don’t charge me a $7 internet fee to buy a ticket to your event.  I’m not stupid.  I know it doesn’t cost 7 bucks to process my ticket.  In fact, I know it’s cheaper for me to do all the work than to have someone answer the phone in your box office and process the charge by hand.
• Wow, my thoughts have turned into gripes.
• I called Wells Fargo about refinancing my house. Still haven’t heard back.  I’m not holding my breath.
• I got a speeding ticket a while back.  I pled no contest and I am going to take defensive driving.  And now, by some strange coincidence, I am getting all these defensive driving offers in my mailbox.  So my question is, where is that public information on who got a ticket? Is it on the internet?  Does any money exchange hands to get that info?
• Speaking of getting offers, I got a couple of doozies in the mail regarding: a) free golf clubs if I tour their timeshare and b) free Vegas vacation if I tour their timeshare, etc.  – I think it might make good blog material.
• Watched Stepbrothers this week. Wow, I really did not like it.  And I thought I would love it.
