Friday Inside My Head

  • Welcome to October in Texas where it’s 85 one day and 45 the next.
  • QB son played well in a 28 to 7 victory over Northwest JV.  Of course I went to the wrong stadium and missed the first two touchdown passes he threw.
  • In my defense, the other stadium was less than a mile away.
  • Frogs are 4-0 and ranked in top 10. I am almost afraid to watch them play on Saturday against Air Force.
  • Not really.. I can’t wait to watch them!
  • I was part of a panel of “experts” on social media this week. I need to do that more often.  Really enjoyed it and met some great folks.
  • Put that post on Tuesday about the kid who built a windmill for his village.–>cool-story-tuesday He was a guest on The Daily Show the next day.  Very cool indeed.
  • Had a plumbing repair that could have been much worse if it hadn’t been for State Farm Insurance.  There…that’s my plug for the day.
  • Still liking GLEE.
  • Cleaned out my GMAIL–over 1,000 messages in the inbox have now been filed properly or discarded.  Finally.
  • Sorry so short today. It’s been a weird week, full of highs and lows. I hope things even out soon.
  • I leave you with a pic of the “Today Show” anchors if they were on the air in the 70s. How great would it be if I could do this on Good Day?

OMG, Grace and I love Glee!! She says she wishes her show choir did such cool songs and dance moves. She also said the dude that plays Horton to her Gertrude in the musical, the one in which she is te lead (yeah, I’m slightly proud), reminds her of Finn, but smarter.
