Friend of mine got the flu this week. I was going to bring her chicken soup and gatorade. She changed her request to frozen macaroni and cheese. Blah
But hey…to each his (her) own I say.
Bell JV won again. Go Blue Raiders.
I have one more week left on this “separate” account manager job that I have been doing at work. I tell you, it’s probably one of the hardest jobs I have ever done in terms of being focused on “details.”
Tried to grow a beard this week. Not pretty. Maybe when I retire I will finally get hair on the side of my face.
Got two temp crowns put in this week. Basically all my molars have cavities that were filled in back when I was in junior high and all of those fillings are starting to crack my molars. Nice.
Dear Dental Receptionist: Try not to smile so much when you ask me for $805. It’s a little annoying. Especially when half my face is numb and there is drool coming out the side of my mouth.
This is kind of funny. At one point during the procedure, the dentist asked me to bite down. As I slowly closed my mouth, I was stopped by something blocking my teeth. Must be a piece of cotton, I thought. The dentist said, “put your tongue in the back of your mouth and try again.” I did that and the obstruction was gone. A few minutes later, he asked my to close my jaw and again I couldn’t do it because again something was blocking my teeth from touching. “Go ahead and put your tongue in the back of your mouth and try again” he said. I did and the piece of “cotton” was moved out of the way.
I kid you not. It took me 10 more minutes to realize that the piece of “cotton” that was in my way was my own damn tongue. I then spent 10 more minutes gently biting my own tongue trying to tell if I could feel any pain. I am not a smart man.
If you have 4 or 5 year old used car for sale, give me a hollar.
