posted in Videos, cool stuff i found |Just got back in from the West Coast. Boy that sounds so… sophisticated? Jet-setting? Important? Not me? Eh, travelling’s overrated, especially when you have to pay $6 for a sandwich. Which was actually pretty good. (Asian Chicken Salad- thank you very much American Airlines).
I was out in beautiful Irvine, CA for a 3-day training event on a new computer software platform my company is about to deploy. I did end up seeing the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace (I give it a B. Not as good as the first one but still action packed). Went to Anaheim one night and ate at Downtown Disney - Ralph Brennen’s Jazz Kitchen. Really good although when I asked the waitress if I could have a bandaid because my new shoes were rubbing a blister on my foot, she came back and said they would have to call a nurse and have me fill out paper work.
Um, no thanks. I’ll just stuff this cocktail napkin down my shoe.
All in all, a good time although my sleep schedule was really messed up. I would go to bed at 10 (that’s midnight here in the center of the country) and wake up at 3am Pacific time. Watch one hour of tv and then fall back asleep. Very bizarre. Almost as bizarre as today’s video offering.
