I ran yesterday. No, check that. I jogged yesterday for the first time in a long time. I have never really had what you people might call, um what is it? Endurance. I may look like I am in halfway decent shape but I get winded very fast. And no, this is isn’t some recent development and I better go have a check up (although that’s not a bad idea). No, I haven’t had much endurance since high school. The best shape I ever was in my life was probably my senior year. I ran track or rather, I high jumped and long jumped and did the occasional hurdles and maybe even the 440 relay. I ran cross country during the offseason and the time that stands out to me is running a 2 mile race in 12:30. That’s about 6. 15 per mile. And that’s my goal for this year.

Yesterday, I jogged one mile in 11 minutes at 15 seconds. I think I have some training ahead of me.

Plus I am really sore.
