favorite song this week
posted in audio |So I was watching VH1’s Jump Start the other morning and this song comes on from new singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles and I stood transfixed for a full 2 minutes just listening to it before I realized why it caught me ear. It’s the syncopation on the piano. Freakin’ awesome. And yes, after about 10 minutes of banging around, I can now play it. Now I just gotta learn the lyrics.
Quick note: Weird that she has different version of the opening chords when she plays it live….
