This sweet looking 1962? Jaguar is located on the 3rd floor of the MOMA in New York. Yes, I gussied up a the saturation level and played with the focus a little bit but I still think it’s a cool shot.

Looks almost cartoony, doesn’t it?

“It’s never too late to be who you might have been.”
-George Eliot (1819-1880) Writer

Mary Ann Evans (22 November 1819 – 22 December 1880), better known by her pen name George Eliot, was an English novelist. She was one of the leading writers of the Victorian era. Her novels, largely set in provincial England, are well known for their realism and psychological perspicacity.
She used a male pen name, she said, to ensure that her works were taken seriously. Female authors published freely under their own names, but Eliot wanted to ensure that she was not seen as merely a writer of romances.

I have 4 tickets (section 303 Row J Seats 5-8) to sell for the Police concert at the AAC on Tuesday, June 26th in Dallas.
The seats are slightly behind the open air stage and I ended up buying better (and more expensive) seats for the 2nd night and now I am stuck with these 4.
SO I thought I would give you guys a chance at the seats at below cost! That’s right, my loss is your gain. I paid about $55 per seat for these and I am willing to sell them for only $25 each. Plus I will throw in the $ 25 platinum level parking pass for free.
Now that’s a deal!
Email me at teamtraffic@gmail.com if you are interested.
Never mind. They are gone. But thanks for playing!
Thanks!-Todd C

Seriously cool music video from the group Bat For Lashes. (yeah, I never heard of them either)
Give it at least 40 seconds (the 2:17 mark) before you stop watching. It’s called “What’s a Girl To Do.”

Hey, it’s Wednesday, so let’s see what Todd took a picture in NY just two weeks ago!

The World Trade Center PATH station originally opened on July 19, 1909 as the Hudson Terminal. When the Hudson Terminal was torn down to make way for the World Trade Center, a new station was built, which opened in 1971. This station served as the terminus for the Newark-World Trade Center and Hoboken-World Trade Center routes until it was destroyed during the September 11, 2001 attacks. A temporary station was built, which opened on November 23, 2003.
I didn’t realize that this station was even here. It’s actually under the street and for a temporary structure, it is beautifully designed.
ABOUT THE PIC: Obviously, I was going for a juxtaposition of the words with the reflective image in the background. I didn’t crop out the sides because I wanted the viewer to realize that this was a sign leading to a darker area. I love the green of the trees in contrast with the buildings and the taxi cab just screams NY. Like it? Hate it? let me know if u want.

I found this book of quotes the other day, so I thought it would be nice to share one every Tuesday.
Until they run out. Or I forget.

Hey…here is some audio from my wildly successful and reportedly entertaining interview with Pugs and Kelly on Live 105.3 FM. The opening is cutoff a bit and be prepared to let the audio stream buffer for about 10 seconds before you hear anything.
PART 1 —
PART 2 —
So after 5 visits to NY, I finally got a chance to visit the Museum of Modern Art. MoMA. Do they call it Moe-ma? I’m still not sure but thrown amongst the Picassos and the Warhols and the Mondrians, I ran across this guy:

“Grapes” by Juan Gris
I don’t know why but I really really like this painting. Even to the point of looking for a print online and getting it framed and sticking in my office. Gris was a student of Picasso, liked painting recognizable objects within the cubist style, and died way too young at the age of 40 in 1927. Around 2005, a Gris painting sold for $69 million dollars. That’s a lot of grapes.
