Haven’t had time to create a Tuesday Quote banner but here is this week’s quote from Barbara Sher :

“Doing is a quantum leap from imagining.”

I like that quote because it hits so close to home for me. I imagine doing a lot of things. I just don’t follow through.  And it’s funny because the satisfaction that I get when I follow through on something creates a positive feeling that can last throughout the day.

The other reason why I like this quote is the use of “quantum leap.” I caught a few minutes of this underated Sci-Fi TV show last week while watching TV with my son.  If you know what this show is about, have you ever tried to explain the premise to someone who has never seen it?

“Um, okay, he’s a scientist who goes back in time to correct problems that will affect the future. Um, he’s wearing a dress because he’s actually inhabiting the body of a woman who is trying to help her husband out of his depression. No, I don’t know what happens to the woman while he’s in her body. …Ziggy is a master computer that helps predict what happens in the timestream. …No, that guy is not real, he’s just a hologram projection…. I don’t know, just watch!”
