So both sons and I headed out to the TCU bookstore last night to take a gander at the new TCU uniforms that Nike has put together for this weekend’s game against Utah.

Look...there's blood shooting out of the eyes of the helmet. Pewpew.

Anyway, we were going to buy some of the new t-shirts but they didn’t have any in mediums.. So I bought a new black “don’t back down” TCU hat and my non-football playing son got a TCU hoodie.

But don’t think my other starting QB for BELL JV son went home empty-handed. He actually got the best deal of all.

Yeah, that’s TCU starting QB Andy Dalton. I think Trevor wore that smile all the way home. Dalton was very nice and said he liked the new uniforms and was ready for Saturday.

So are we, Andy. So are we.

The whole courtyard area has changed with the focus of the campus now facing away from University and more towards the stadium.

So I went to the TCU game a couple of weeks ago, when they played SMU. ( I always go to the TCU-SMU game. I’m not sure why I take such enjoyment in their losing. I have friends that went to SMU. I dated girls that went to SMU. Shoot, I almost went there. Weird)

Anyway, as I was leaving the rain-soaked stadium, I noticed that TCU had put these really cool looking banners that showed outstanding players from the past: Bob Lilly, Sammy Baugh, Davy O’Brien, etc and so I snapped a pic with my phone.
